| Isle of Skye Yachts offer a varied selection of boats for bareboat charter, so you are sure to find something to your taste. Individual berth and 'whole' boat Skippered Charters are also available. If you would like a Skipper we have a number of experienced and helpful Skippers available who can help you maximise the enjoyment of cruising in a new area.
Most charters run on a weekly basis from Friday or Saturday (see our web site for details), but other days can be arranged, particularly at short notice. There are often Special Offers available for mid and low season dates.
In addition to chartering out yachts, the company has a large workshop in Ardvasar where we are able to offer a variety of services to visiting yachts. Showers are also available here. We usually have a selection of boats and equipment for sale details of which can also be found on our website. Should you be interested in purchasing a yacht to put out on charter there is a Yacht Charter Management Programme booklet available.
ABOUT US There has been a yacht charter company at Ardvasar for over 20 years now. The company has been run by Mark and Charmian Entwistle since 1998 and they have an excellent track record for providing well-maintained boats to satisfied customers who return to Skye year after year. The company is a member of two trade associations who help ensure that the highest standards are maintained:-
The British Marine Federation (www.britishmarine.co.uk). The Association of Scottish Yacht Charterers. (www.asyc.co.uk)
We are pleased to say that we were fortunate enough to be presented with the 2003 Tourism Award at the Highlands and Islands Business Awards. The company also recently received Investors in People accreditation.
All the fleet is certified to category 2 (up to 60 miles from a safe haven) of the Marine and Coastguard Agency (MCA) Code of Practice for Commercial Sailing vessels. This opens up a massive cruising area from Shetland in the North, St Kilda in the West to Ireland in the South.
We look forward to hearing from you. |
